In my opinion, These are the coolest five sentences I've seen in print here in Houston in a long, long time. This statement couldn't be more on the mark. These words come from Olivia Flores Alvarez of The Houston Press.
The waitresses are chatting in Russian. The food is Italian. There's a group of Argentineans in the corner, talking Spanish at full-speed. And Texan Tianna Hall is on stage singing classic American jazz, backed by a Norwegian guitarist and a Lebanese drummer. Yeah, this is Houston.

Very cool description of Houston. Sounds just like home here in DC
