Another tour of I 10
I am driving to and from San Antonio today for about thirty minutes of work. It's a six hour round trip by truck. I am sure to be in a great mood when I get home.

You should eat lunch some place cool in San Antonio. I mean you gotta eat right? I wish I had a suggestion but its early and my brain hasn't fully started its day yet.
Hope you have some good music!!! OR you should get a book on tape for these adventures!!!
These are great suggestions but here's how it usually works (thanks to both of you, it made me smile for the first time all day).
Laurie: When I'm on an over-nighter there I only go to Los Barrios. They have the absolute finest carne guisada (and cabrito) I've ever had. But on a day trip like this I don't have time to sit down for lunch because I have to get back to Houston to pick up my daughter from school. I have to eat while rolling down the highway. But there is a really good bbq joint just outside of Seguine (Joel's) that has great brisket sandwiches and an endless supply of jalapenos.
Katrina: I am an AM radio junkie. I like the talk shows and that's pretty much all I listen to while in my truck. My AM presets include stations from Houston, Corpus Christi, Austin and San Antonio. However, when I'm on the road for many days I do take some music with me. Mostly the Donna's and ZZ Top. A bit of Steely Dan too.
Where is Los Barrios? Is it anywhere near downtown?
Dang me . . . I intended to include the location last night. It seems sort of pointless mentioning a restaraunt without it's location (I was very tired).
It's on Blanco maybe half a mile north of the 410 "loop".
You didn't just spell my name with a K....Did you????
Do you get John and Ken in your neck of the woods??
Whoa . . . sorry, there Catrina. I was totally unaware that I that I did that. I suppose living here in Houston caused that mental slip. No, we don't get John and Ken here.
Dang it...did you at least wave when passed by the hospital???
You didn't hear me honk ...---... on my horn tk?
